Kerry Paksoy holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Central University. He has a varied counseling background and training in crisis/detox, college, and EAP settings. In addition to working for Josh’s Hope Foundation, Kerry also works in employee assistance and maintains a private practice working with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. His clinical perspective includes Solution Focused Brief Counseling as well as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Theory.
Kerry’s past work includes providing job training, coaching, and independent living skills to individuals on the Autism Spectrum, as well as Conflict Resolution at a local mediation center.
