Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and National Certified Counselor Constance is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a National Certified Counselor. She graduated from Methodist University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with Clinical Concentration. She also earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

She has experience in working with children and adults with various issues that include but are not limited to trauma, depression, anxiety, relationships, grief, anger, and self-esteem. She is passionate about working with clients of different ethnic groups, backgrounds, and cultures.

Connie strongly believes in empowerment and change through a positive therapeutic relationship with clients. She believes that fostering strength and providing guidance in therapy helps clients strive toward their improvement and happiness. She incorporates a variety of therapy models depending on the client’s needs. She uses person-centered therapy to connect with her clients. She also uses cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and rational emotive behavior therapy. She considers each client’s uniqueness and works with them to build an effective plan that will help them overcome their issues and reach their desired goals.
