Licensed Professional Counselor
Dr. Angeline Woodson is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. Dr. Woodson has over 20 years experience as a mental health therapist specializing in diversity and multicultural counseling. She is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. She has vast experience in working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. Dr. Woodson has provided in-home and office based counseling. She has aided clients in addressing issues with addictions, adult survivors of dysfunction, grief and bereavement issues, parenting issues, self-esteem issues, transitional issues, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, couples issues and domestic violence. Using a number of evidence-based theories including motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), solution-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and a variety of play therapies, Dr. Woodson helps her clients take positive steps towards achieving their goals.
Dr. Woodson is a Navy veteran as well as the spouse of a retired Marine. She has a host of experience working with military personnel and their families.
